This Charter applies to all the services offered by Gravity (the website and identity management applications).

The Charter aims to inform you of the rights and freedoms that you can exercise in respect of our use of your personal data and describes the measures that we take to protect these data.

Gravity is the “data controller” responsible for processing personal data used to manage the Gravity website and related identity management applications.

These operations are carried out in accordance with European law and regulation, notably the General Data Protection Régulation n°2016/679 and the French privacy law: loi n° 78-17 du 6 janvier 1978 relative à l'informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés modifiée en 2004.

When visiting our website, you may need to provide us with a number personal data, such as your first name, surname and email address in order to process your contact request.

Processing this data is based on our legitimate interest to manage your request via the contact form.

Mandatory fields of the online form are marked with an asterisk. If you do not provide answers to mandatory questions, we will not be able to provide you with the service(s) requested.

About our Identity Management Services

You are expected to provide a number of personal data to use the Gravity applications: your first name, surname, phone number, birth date, gender, nationality, national ID number, in order to compute a valid identity score.

By doing so, you give your consent to the processing of your data. This information is needed to provide you with the Gravity identity management services. All fields are mandatory except NIR and failing to answer mandatory questions will prevent us from providing you with Gravity identity management services.

You can withdraw your consent at any time without jeopardizing operations that have already been completed by writing to the following address: dataprotection@gravity.earth or by selecting the appropriate option on the Gravity smartphone application.

Subsequently, all your personal data will be processed in a way that is compatible with the purposes described in the collection forms. Your data are kept for the period set in the table below:

Retention period

Your data are stored for the duration of your inquiry, for a maximum of one month and then deleted or anonymized.

Your data are kept the time needed to initially compute and subsequently update your identity score, meaning the period of your registration and your referencing during which information you have provided are being certified. They are then deleted or anonymized.

Your personal data may be communicated to our data controller department, partners, independent distributors or subcontractors for the same purpose and under the same conditions as outlined here. In any case, no commercial use of such data will be made.

Data Transfers

For data collected within the European Economic Area, any data transfer to a country outside of the European Economic Area shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations and in such a way as to protect your data appropriately.

The data controller takes appropriate steps to preserve the security and confidentiality of your personal data, including preventing them from being distorted, damaged or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
